This week we were at the much anticipated launch of the new Navara NP300 Ute. The Navara has been a very popular ute in NZ and has built it’s reputation on strength, reliability and most importantly power.
Now Nissan have evolved the model with the new range of NP300 with an improved aerodynamic body shape, better interior comfort, 3,500kg towing across the range and up to 450Nm torque. But perhaps the most appealing selling point is the super economical diesel fuel consumption of 6.4L-7.0L/100Km and up to 450Nm of torque.
There’s also acknowledgment of the growing urban popularity of 2WD utes with the DX petrol variant keenly priced to make an impact. Obviously the specs on the petrol model differ from the diesel; 9.9L/100Km and 1588Kg towing but with 122kW of power. Perfect for those who don’t do enough kilometers to make driving a diesel worthwhile.
