Fun Fact
Citroën’s version of the Peugeot Partner van is the Citroën Berlingo. In 2022 Citroën partnered with Italian coachbuilder Caselani to create a kit that transforms the Citroën Berlingo van into a modern reinterpretation of the legendary Citroën 2CV Fourgonnette van, which dates back to 1951. More »
Versatile & Practical Peugeot Partner Vans
One of the key strengths of Peugeot Partner vans is their versatility. They can be tailored to suit a wide variety of commercial needs.
The vans offer a generous cargo area with up to 4.4 cubic metres of space, making them ideal for deliveries, or transporting tools, equipment, and materials.
Standard Wheelbase vs Long Wheelbase
Peugeot Partner vans are available in both standard wheelbase (SWB) and long wheelbase (LWB) variants, providing you with even greater flexibility to meet your specific needs.
The SWB model offers a more compact and manoeuvrable design, with shorter overhangs and a reduced turning circle that make it well-suited for navigating tight urban environments.
With a wheelbase of 4.43 metres and a turning circle of only 10.82 metres between kerbs, the SWB van makes manoeuvring around town easy.
This version of the Partner boasts a cargo volume of up to 3.8 cubic metres, making it an excellent choice for businesses that primarily operate in city centres or need to access tight spaces.
“We like the Partner as a metro delivery concept.”
– Sean Willmot, Editor of Company Vehicle
If you need a larger loading space but still want the convenience of a smaller van, the LWB version is 35 cm longer. With a larger cargo area of up to 4.4 cubic metres, it is the better option for those who need to transport larger or bulkier items on a regular basis.
With a turning circle of 11.43 metres between kerbs, the LWB model may be slightly less agile in tight spaces, but its increased cargo capacity is an advantage for tradespeople, delivery services, and other businesses with bigger load carrying requirements.
Regardless of the wheelbase, both the SWB and LWB Peugeot Partner vans share the same core strengths, including their clever load-enhancing seats, efficient and powerful engine, advanced safety features, and user-friendly design.
Multiflex bench seat
The modular front passenger seats allow three people to be comfortably seated in the front. The central seat is larger due to the absence of a floor-mounted handbrake lever.
A nifty feature is the mobile office function created by a pivoting writing table integrated into the folding backrest of the central seat. It can be adjusted to face either the passenger or the driver.
Finally, the Multiflex passenger seats can be folded away to increase load volume and length.
Thanks to the flat floor beneath the seats, the load volume is increased by 400 litres with the seats folded away. This creates a useful load length of up to 3 metres in the SWB version and as much as 3.35 metres in the LWB version.
Load Capacity
The SWB Peugeot Partner van has a useful load length of 1.81 metres, or 3.09 metres with the passengers’ Multiflex bench seat folded away.
This gives a load volume of 3.3 m3 to 3.8 m3 and a payload of 1000 kg.
The LWB model has a useful load length of 2.16 metres, or 3.44 metres with the Multiflex seat folded away.
This gives a load volume of 3.8 m3 to 4.4 m3 and a payload of 1000 kg.
Load-friendly features include rear barn doors with wide 180° opening and a low loading sill to make loading and unloading easier.
Efficient Engine
Under the hood, Peugeot Partner vans come with an efficient PureTech turbo petrol engine and 8-speed automatic gearbox. This provides low combined fuel consumption of 6.7L/100km and 151g/km combined CO2 emissions.
The latest generation of the Partner also features advanced safety technologies such as autonomous emergency braking, helping to protect both the driver and the cargo.
Connectivity
Peugeot Partner vans come with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, of course, and a large 8″ touchscreen that works with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
5-Year Warranty and Roadside Assistance
The Partner’s combination of cargo capacity, efficiency, and manoeuvrability make it a compelling choice in the compact van segment.
Even more compelling is the 5-year / 100,000km Peugeot warranty and 5-year roadside assistance.
Peugeot Partner vans are versatile and practical commercial vans that have earned their place as a trusted workhorse with SME businesses.
Worldwide Accolades
Since its international launch, Peugeot Partner vans have garnered accolades around the world, including the prestigious International Van of the Year in 2019 and the 2023 NZ Company Vehicle Van of the Year.
Now it’s your turn to judge for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.
