Range Rover Review

By Lianca van Oudtshoorn | 21 November 2016 | Posted in Reviews

It’s no secret that SUVs have been very popular cars for business and personal use in recent times.

However, the Range Rover is one of those vehicles which has surged into the market and established itself as one of the top luxury SUVs out there.

This 2.5 ton behemoth is packed full of luxury, full of off road prowess and deceptively quick, with the top end model going from 0-100 kmh in an astonishing 4.7 seconds. The smart, classic styling, up to date technology features and smooth handling give it that x-factor feeling which will put a smile on your face.

If you’re at the top of your organisation or just looking to make a noticeable impression, the Range Rover is a fantastic option to explore.

The first model came out way back in 1970. Engineers Spen King and Gordon Bashford had been working on a prototype model for a few years, intent on creating an original and immediately recognisable body with strong specs too. Today, not much changed and the Range Rover has been making a strong impression ever since. Sales have almost tripled in the last seven years, from 22,201 in 2009 to 60,226 in 2015. The number of celebrities and public figures who have been seen driving them has soared as well: Michael Phelps, Pamela Anderson, Gerrard Butler and Stephen Curry to name a few.
