By Lance Manins | Driveline | 27 April 2023 | Posted in Ford

Ford dealers now accepting orders for Mustang Mach-E RTR AWD and RWD. To be showcased at Ellerslie Classic Car Show on 23 May.

Ford dealers are now accepting orders for both AWD and RWD models of the new Mustang Mach-E RTR package, and will showcase the new EV at the Ellerslie Classic Car Show in Auckland on 23 May 2023.

Ford Mustang Mach-E RTR is described as an electrifying addition to the iconic Mustang family. The Mach-E RTR Styling Pack is available for RWD and AWD models (excluding GT) and is perfect for those looking to elevate their Mach-E experience.

Drawing from Ford’s rich motorsport history, the Mustang Mach-E RTR package combines style and power. The RTR package includes RTR Aero 5 20″ Wheels and Continental EV Tyres, giving it a commanding road presence.

The RTR Signature Graphics Package features a sleek Solid Black Design, along with RTR Front and Rear Floor Mats, RTR Rear Cargo Mats, RTR Dash Plaque, and RTR Fender & Trunk Badges.

The Mustang Mach-E RTR delivers a perfect balance of innovation and tradition, offering an electrified performance vehicle that remains true to its iconic heritage while embracing electric mobility.

The RTR package, priced at $9,000 GST inclusive, provides unparalleled style and design. It can be ordered at any Ford dealer and is locally fitted in New Zealand by Ford’s partner, CTB Performance.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E RTR pack includes:

  • RTR Aero 5 Wheels 20 X 8.5
  • Continental EV Tyres
  • RTR Graphics, Grill, Doors, Quarter panel, and rear
  • RTR Fender Badges
  • RTR Dash Plaque
  • RTR Black Wheel Nuts
  • RTR Floor Mats

International Recognition

The Ford Mustang Mach-E has garnered over 20 awards and recognitions worldwide, including top safety and green ratings from independent authorities Euro NCAP and Green NCAP.

Customer Charging Solutions

Ford New Zealand has partnered with Singer Electric New Zealand, a leading electric vehicle charging infrastructure provider, to ensure a seamless electrification rollout for homes and businesses.

Singer Electric has installed charging stations at Ford NZ’s main dealership sites and is completing installations at dealer branches. Singer will also offer home and business charging solutions for customers.

Ford New Zealand has also partnered with ChargeNet, the country’s largest EV charging network, to provide Ford customers with easy access to charging stations. A Ford RFID fob is included with the purchase of Ford EVs, allowing customers to easily sign up and use ChargeNet charging stations across New Zealand.

Commitment to Sustainability

Globally, Ford is investing over $50 billion through 2026 in electric vehicle and battery development and manufacturing.

Ford aims to achieve an annual production rate of 600,000 EVs by the end of 2023 and over 2 million by the end of 2026. By 2030, half of Ford’s global vehicle sales volume is expected to be electric.

The recently released 2023 Integrated Sustainability and Financial Report highlights the impact of Ford’s strategy, including CO2 emissions savings from driving a Ford EV. Ford’s climate change efforts align with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (Paris Agreement), making Ford one of the first U.S. automakers to join the international community in limiting global warming as part of the Paris Agreement.
